No. Registration is completely free for qualified executives. Keller is paid by the organizations seeking board members, not by candidates.
No. Keller represents the organizations seeking board members, not individual executives. When you join our registry, your profile becomes visible to our company clients when they conduct searches. If your expertise matches what an organization needs, we facilitate the introduction. This is exposure to opportunities, not candidate representation or active placement. You remain in full control of which opportunities to pursue.
Our executive search team reviews your LinkedIn profile and application. We assess: seniority/leadership depth, industry and functional expertise, career trajectory, board-readiness indicators (governance exposure, strategic thinking), and market demand for your background. Qualified candidates are approved within 7-10 business days.
This varies significantly based on demand for your expertise. Some placements occur within 60-90 days; others take 6-12 months. Opportunities arise when companies search for your specific background, not on a predictable schedule.
We welcome first-time board candidates with exceptional executive credentials. Many successful placements are executives' first board roles. Strong functional expertise (CFO, CTO, etc.) and C-suite experience often matter more than previous board service.
Your profile is shared only with Keller's company clients conducting relevant searches, and only after your consent for specific opportunities. Your current employer is never contacted without your explicit permission. Participation is completely confidential.
Yes. Contact us on the update form anytime to update: availability, geographic preferences, industry interests, compensation expectations, or credentials.
Public companies, private equity-backed firms, family businesses, high-growth startups, mature private companies, nonprofits, and advisory boards. Opportunities span all industries and geographies based on our clients' needs.
We provide feedback on why you don't currently meet criteria and suggest when to reapply (e.g., after gaining more years of experience, achieving a C-suite role, or developing specific expertise in demand).
